hi, i just set up a buffalo modem and a buffalo adaptor..?
i have it all set up, but when i go to ‘connect to’ then the word buffalo is there, so i connected with that, but it says its unsecured and will leave my laptop ‘undiscoverable’ what does this mean? i said ok anyway and now my laptop is wireless. but is it open to viruses? or can other people see inside my laptop? i have avast protection anyway, but its the undiscoverable word thats freaking me out. someone please help. thanks
IT means your wireless link is not encrypted. other people can conenct to your wireless network. Log in to the Buffalo router and check the security settings. set security for WPA PSK
