help with Mr.hobby color?

I have Mr.METAL color (chrome silver 211) it’s from Mr.hobby & I intend to use it to paint small pieces for plastic model.
The directions says : shake well before use .After Mr.Metal-Color is dry. Burnish it with a soft cloth, what do they mean by that?
As I said I intend to use to for small pieces in my plastic model & I thought I would thin it before use & paint with paint brush that’s all .
So do I can use it like any other acrylic paint or do I need to follow directions?
You need to follow the directions. I think Mr. Metal Colors are like the rest of the Mr. Colors- lacquer based.
I have never shaken my Mr. Color paints. I stir very well with a small wooden stick. To brush paint, I make up a 1:4 thinner:paint mix, then paint twice in the opposite direction. Up to down, let dry a little bit, then right to left. Doing it that way will greatly cut down on the brush stroke marks in the paint.
To burnish just means to polish it lightly.
