I have a Vs platinum lite digital satellite receiver and can’t see the picture on screen?
what programs should i download or look at when my satellite goes down i want to re -program it myself on my PC i got the tools for it i just don’t know which is a great program for my VS Platinum lite digital satellite receiver
Start with the simple things first, when troubleshooting a problem like this.
1. Is the receiver output connected to your tv set? Sometimes the cables can become disconnected. Be sure your cables are firmly connected to the receiver and the port on the TV.
2. Is the receiver plugged in?
3. Unplug your receiver, allow 1 minute to pass. Plug it back in. Make sure it is turned on.
4. Do you know what video input the receiver is connected to on the television set? Many modern TVs have multiple video connections for DVD players, VHS players, antennae, cable, game systems, etc. You will have a video button on your remote for the TV. Make sure the receiver is “on” after the above-mentioned trouble shooting efforts have been made, and click through the video options. You might find that you were watching video 2, for example, when the receiver was connected to video 4. My particular set has 7 video connections. There is one for the Wii, one for the Playstation, one for the DVD/HT, one for the satellite. Each time you change the source from which you are playing, you need to make sure you’re TV is coodinated with what you want to be watching/playing.
