I have a 2006 million dollar gold proof sold by the Washington Mint. It looks like a million dollar US bill,?
but on one side it says it’s .999 fine gold w/ a certificate of authenticity that says that it contains 6 ounces of .999 pure gold bullion. Is this a legitimate gold bar that should at least have a value of 6 oz of gold or NOT?
If it is as you describe, then yes.
If in doubt, have it weighed in grams. 6 troy ounces at 31.1 grams per troy ounce should be precisely 186.6 grams.
