I have book that I checked from the school library in 1971. It was due in may of 71 and I still have it how?
much is the fine at a nickel a day. The book is Sporting and Shotguns. Shuld i take it back or just keep it. This is really bothering me now.
Either way, I doubt it will be of any legal consequence to you. If you feel strongly about returning the book, then go ahead! It will be interesting to see how the current librarian or media specialist responds to your visit. They may even forgo any fine or penalty given how the amount of time that has passed. I think the response would be one of amusement and appreciation. You would be doing the honorable thing.
