non flowing hair very coarse?
like i straighten my hair almost everyday
but for some odd reason when i do its not smooth but its very coarse and i have to wait a day till its nice and smooth.
and yes i use a heat protectant
but my real problem is that its not natural looking instead of my hair being nice and free flowing its like straight but it doesnt move it sits in the same place all day
and it personally looks really bad
is it because my hair is too short
or because i wasnt meant to have nice straight hair

If your are able to straighten your hair and the problems are that it takes a day to look smooth but it kinda sits there and looks frumpy then your issues aren’t really bad.
First make sure the shampoos and conditioners you are using are moisturizing, this will give it the flexible soft look curly hair needs.
But the main thing is when you are straightening your hair, you’ll want to comb the section straight following it with the iron at a slower pace. make sure you are straightening the hair parallel to your head shape (or bringing the hair as close to your head as possible while straightening) To get more flow and movement the key is to use c-motions with your iron towards the ends of your hair.
