How come when ever you see a commercial about christmas it says “happy holidays” instead?
You know if the commercial is about christmas dont you think it should say merry christmas and not happy holidays. Yeah i know not everyone celebrates christmas but that’s what the commercial is about
I detest the commercials. The merchants are capitalizing on Christmas but want to be inclusive for other religions or atheists/agnostics.
Wal-Mart used to say at the conclusion of a sale:
“Happy Holidays.” Now the employees say, “Merry Christmas.” I think a lot of Christians complained.
Another thing I don’t like is the promotion of costly items with the message, “If you love her/him, get a Lexus/Diamond/a trip. Where is the Christ message. It is truly a shame.
