Did Key and Jonghyun ever date?
From the band SHINee. People are always pairing them on asianfanfics.com and some even stated in youtube videos that they did date. (They said they were wearing their key necklaces.) I’m not entirely clear on if they did, but I know many people are gonna try and kill Jonghyun’s new gf just for the sake of JongKey or for themselves. I’m really hoping for an answer on this one!
No. They have never dated and never will. Both of them are completely straight and definitely into girls. They’re close friends, that’s all. They’re just a common pairing for fanfictions and fantasies and stuff. Just for fun. And if you see Key and Jonghyun talking about them being a couple, they are completely joking. They know that they are commonly paired in fanfictions, and they go along with it and joke around, but they don’t seriously have romantic or sexual attractions to each other. It’s good to get this straight! haha 
Oh, and if people say they’re ganna kill Jonghyun’s girlfriend because of JongKey, they’re probably (hopefully..) joking. Most people know that JongKey is fictional, and just joke about being angry at SeKyung to keep up the JongKey fantasy. But it’s all just fun and games and jokes. Not serious.
