I have a thirty year old victoria plum which is dying as a result of silver leaf. Over the years we have eate?
Over the years we have eaten the fruit and thrown the stones over the fence onto rough ground where they have grown into young trees. They do blossom and bear fruit but the plums are small round and purple. Does anyone know if they will eventually bear proper plums
Those probably are proper plums for those trees.
Hybrid cultivars won’t grow true from seed. The seed will grow true to the dominant parent, producing fruit like the parent.
