Mark Twain is perhaps the most famous American writer (Twain Books). Mark Twain was actually the pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens. He was born in Missouri on November 30, 1835. Samuel Clemens died in 1910 at the age of 74 in Redding, Connecticut.
Twain is perhaps most famous for his novels “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” (1876) and “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” (1884).
