Spanish milled silver gold certificate worth anything?
I have a certificate that says”$60 this bill entitles the bearer 60 milled Spanish dollars or in the value of silver or gold September 26 1778″
It has Spanish on it which I believe is the same amount.
It sounds a lot like early American paper money from around the time of the Revolutionary War. You can see examples of such money at

I don’t know a whole lot about the subject, but I have heard the British forged a lot of this money to undermine the American war effort. I certainly cannot tell you how to determine if you have a forgery or not.

I have seen currency from that time priced around $300 to $600, but none had a face value over $10. I think a $60 face value would be more uncommon hence more expensive, but I do am not certain. The condition it is in will have a major impact on its value as well.
