Mold Melting
I need help with melting chocolate in a candy mold?

I want to make white chocolate peppermint candies for a holiday party. I bought Gharidelli white choc. chips, and peppermint candy canes. I melted the chips on double boiler (as I usually do when making chocolate covered fruit) added crushed peppermint candy, and then poured it in the molds. It did not get solid just stayed sticky, and didn’t harden. Is there something I am doing wrong? Should I use the craft store melting chocolate instead? I am afraid that stuff might not taste good because I’ve never tried it. Any advice? Thanks.
I forgot to add it was cooled in the freezer/fridge for almost a whole day with no luck.

1. Melting in a Microwave (recommended):
Put 1 lb. of chocolate in a bowl. Microwave on half power for 1 minute, then stir [it will not be all melted at this point]. Do it again. Repeat the process until the chocolate is mixed well. When ready to use it will pour from a spoon like syrup. Remember don’t overcook your chocolate.
