has anyone ever heard of a miniature morgan sivler dollar or a coin similar?
i went to an oction and bid on misc. coins and a coin that was in there looked exactly like a morgan silver dollar but like the sizze of a dime do you know what it is.oh and the back was never stamed so its only the front
Are you sure it is not an old dime with the reverse filed off? I have heard of modern novelty items like miniature coins, but not old ones. They are sometimes used to mock the inflationary economics of the time. You might want to check with a coin dealer, but it is likely not worth much.
