What kind of neighborhood is Ravenswood, located in Chicago?

My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving into a 1 bedroom in Ravenswood. It’s less than 20 minutes from N. Michigan in Downtown Chicago.
The apartment is located (Ravenswood, obv) @ Berwyn & Lincoln. I’d like to know what kind of neighborhood the apt is in? Nice people familys college kids, etc. Or is it ghetto at all? I have no idea because I’m not familiar with this area.
