What would a 50$ Gold Buffalo Tribute Proof be worth in 10 or 20 years?
Is it worth to buy a few? Seems like it may be worth it long term. But in 2010, this coin is really worth 1$. Doing the math – The weight of one coin is 31mgs. 1 ounce = 28349mgs. So this means that one coin is 1/1000th of an ounce. If Gold is 1000$ per Ounce. Is my math right?
The only “Proof” part of the offer is “proof” that there is a fool born every minute, I’m afraid. I don’t know why the government or FCC allows such “fool’s gold” advertisements to be run on TV or radio. Why would someone who is trying to make a profit sell you a “$50 value” coin for $19.95? Think about it.
Another one that irks me is “But wait! Call now and we’ll double the offer. Just pay separate processing and shipping.” Yeah, right. All they want is your credit card number and then watch out!
Please, don’t fall for any of this crap.
