How soft should my pure silver be?
I keep reading that pure .999 silver is too soft for anything useful so I am wondering how soft my 1 oz and 10 oz bullion should be? Should I be able to bend it , scratch it, etc?

Silver is hard as a rock. You can scratch it, so it’s not as hard as steel, but you certainly can’t bend it.
Buy a one once silver bar for under $20, and you’ll see. You can’t put teeth marks in it either like you can gold.
