Arriving Shortly Is The 2011 Dodge Durango
The SUV market is still missing an automobile. This would be the Dodge Durango. Dodge promised they would redesign the SUV that was popular in its halfway between mid-size and full-size although it had a lot of power. Chrysler decided to make a lot of changes to the car. The Dodge Durango wound up with not only a change on the outside. The crossover SUV between a Suburban and mid-size Explorer is where the 2011 Durango is headed. Chrysler wants to be a part of the crossover craze as Jeep is having models die off.
The Durango is back
There were no Dodge Durangos produced for over a year. Chrysler decided this was best while it remodeled the three-quarter size SUV. The SUV was popular while it was being made as it replaced the RamCharger. This SUV was not nearly as large as in the outside as the Suburban, Tahoe, Excursion, Expedition or Hummer. Even with that, it still had plenty of space for people or cargo with three rows of seating. Under the hood, it was all Dodge. It was the perfect auto to take kids to sports, school, or even on road trips.
Bright and new
The Dodge Durango has been scaled down. The purpose of this is for making is a crossover SUV. This was reported by the New York Times. That doesn’t mean that Dodge Motors is skimping on the horsepower, though. The 2011 Durango will come with a stock 290 horsepower 3.6 liter V6, or optional 360 hp 5.7 liter V8. The V8 can have an efficiency system, which shuts down 4 of the 8 cylinders while not needed. The Dodge Motors Rock N Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon will display three Dodge Motors Durangos for 2001.
Changes Chrysler decided to make
The Chrysler-Fiat merger means that new Fiat models could be placed in the other two brands besides Chrysler, which are dodge and Jeep. The Patriot and Compass are the models of jeep selling the most which is why there are more being made. There will probably be lots of Chrysler sold. The crossover market is doing well.
