What are my chances into these Universities?
I am in 7th grade honor roll. In high school I will do mock trial team and tennis. I currently do chess club and next year I will do choir. I have straight A’s. Science- 90 English- 97 SS- 95 Spanish-100 Mathematics- 94
Colleges I want to apply to:
1. Stanford
2. Columbia
3. Cornell
4. College of William and Mary
5. UNC Chapel Hill
6. Beijing University (full blood Chinese)

I will keep this trend going or be better in high school.
Those colleges don’t care about your grades in middle school. If you can keep this trend going all through high school, then you will most likely be a worthy candidate. These colleges also consider your SAT scores. You have to get at least 2000 to be considered by Stanford, Columbia, and Cornell. Considering that they’re Ivy League institutions, Columbia and Cornell are especially difficult to get into.
I suggest that you take AP classes in high school. Are you in the gifted program at your middle school? You should take as many AP courses as you can to challenge yourself. (I’m a HS freshman, and I’m taking AP Human Geography) AP classes aren’t difficult, especially Human Geography, at all. People make a gargantuan deal out of them, but they’re really just some other classes that some kids have to take
If you take AP classes, get involved in extracurricular activities (e.g. NHS, Spanish Honor Society), volunteer at organizations (e.g. hospital, nursing homes), and keep up the good grades, then you’ll definitely get into those colleges.
