Silver Bar
I have inherited a Silver bar and would like to know more about it ?

Silver bar markings ..top left “112T” Top Right “84″ Bottom Middle “x.99:6 + F” the plus sign looks like an upside down cross. Weighs between 7 and 8 lbs. Any idea you made this and what it is worth?

Hopefully, you get a better answer than this…but I think you may want to take it to a local precious metals dealer and have them look at it. It sounds like it might be a bar of silver. 112T could just be some identifying mark, but if 112T stood for 112 Troy ounces, it would indicate a weight of a little less than 8 pounds. Troy ounces are a little less than 10% heavier than regular ounces. .996F could be .996 fine…just guessing here, but I’m thinking you have either a very old silver bar on your hands, and if not, then who knows what it might be. 100 troy ounces, which is a common silver bar size would be about 7 pounds. If it isn’t that, then I have no idea what it might be, or why they would have bothered to bequeath it to you in the first place. Silver today is about $16.70/troy ounce…but you’d get something less than that for the bar. I’d show it to an expert…they’ll know what to do with it.
