Silver American Eagle coin weight tolerances?
What are the weight tolerances on an American Silver Eagle Coin. I know it’s a troy ounce and I have been told it is also 31.101 Grams, but how much can a real one be off.
Thats correct one troy oz is equal to 31.1034768 grams.I have seen eagles vary up to 31.14 to 31.78. They are guaranteed to never be less than 1 troy oz. The Mint does not publish the tolerance information.
