Hi, in Soul Silver do you need to have a GBA game like Leaf Green to catch wild pokemon in Pal Park?
I know that Pal Park can be used to migrate pokemon from Fire Red or Leaf Green over to the Soul Silver game, but can I catch wild pokemon from generation 2 in it? I have Soul Silver and Pearl and want to complete my pokedex, but don’t have FR or LG. Please help if you know how to do this or if its possible. Thank you
No, Pal Park cannot be accessed unless you have Pokémon from one of the GBA games there to get. Luckily, you can get most, if not all, of the Pokémon you would have needed to transfer from FR/LG already in SoulSliver without Pal Park, so it’s not a huge loss.
