What is an actual tri state buffer circuit?
I know that a tri-state buffer can out put either logic 1, logic 0, or high impedance, but how are these actually made? Is it just a matter of a common gate or common source circuit tied to a resistor at the output terminal? I’d love to see a schematic of one if anyone has one.
Either technology is fine, but ideally I’d like to see a MOS implementation.
