World War
Do you believe the second world war ended any major future conflicts between western countries?

For much of the 18th and 19th centuries, European nations were constantly at war with one another for one reason or another. After the second world war, there hasn’t been another military conflict between western, predominantly white nations since. At least not with casualties–no conflicts over territory anymore, no ground battles, naval sea fights, etc. Of course, there was the was the cold war, however no fighting actually took place, obviously. I do believe that WW2 was the war that ended all wars, in the western world that is.

All the wars we have seen between then and now have been from third world countries. Do you think now is the time when the powers of the west should destroy the barbaric, third world regimes? Do you believe the savage violence from these developing, backwards countries is a threat to western civilization now that Europe has been at peace for so long?

No insults. Serious responses, please.

Well I think you are going back to colonialism with words like barbaric, third world, savage violence, backwards country. This is precisely why we should stay away from these conflicts because we don’t see them as people and we are there to “help” them. We don’t even know them. How are we going to help them?
